Copper in roof coverings

Due to their perfect flatness and excellent workability, KME Italy's copper rolled products are ideal for the production of electric welded tubes.

The use of copper for the roofing of buildings and all the other applications related to construction and architecture represents the best solution from both a technical and an economical point of view. A copper roof is practically indestructible and eliminates the expensive periodic maintenance operations.

Copper is not attacked by the large amount of pollutants in the air; the thin layer of cupric salts, with its characteristic green colour which forms on the surface of the structure, represents the metal's true self defence system, preventing any future corrosive activity.

Thanks to its excellent workability and ease of installation, copper can be used in a wide range of construction and decorative solutions.
