YORKSHIRE MEDICAL SPECIALLY CLEANED COPPER TUBES TO BS EN 13348 / BS EN 1057
Yorkshire Medical Gas Tubes are specially cleaned and packed to ensure they are suitable for medical gases and/or vacuum lines.
In oxygen lines, spontaneous combustion can take place with any greases or hydrocarbon in the tube, and the cleaning process eliminates this risk. Additionally, the cleaning takes away malodours from any residual lubricants that may taint breathable gases.
STANDARD FEATURES
- Cu-DHP grade copper
- BSi Kitemark licensed
- Sizes up to and including 54mm are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 13348
- Size above 54mm are manufactured to the physical and dimensional requirements of BS EN 1057, cleaned to the requirements of BS EN 13348**
- Available in 5.8m or 6m lengths in diameters 12-108mm
- Half hard tubes are suitable for cold bending and forming
** N.B. BS EN 13348 only defines requirements for copper tubes in the range 12-54mm
