Q-tec®

Q-tec® is the new KME reduced thickness copper tube with a polyethelyne covering. It combines the advantages of copper in terms of hygiene, performance and antibacterial activity, with extreme lightness and workability.

Q-tec® is a universal system for all types of sanitary plumbing and heating applications (distribution of drinking water, traditional and radiator heating systems), it does not limit the designers and installers to just one type of joint, is available in long lengths and therefore requires a reduced number of joints.

Characteristics of the Q-tec® tube

• Reduced thickness copper tube with a polythene covering
• Interior contact material: Cu-DHP copper according to Italian Ministerial Decree 174/04
• Purity of the internal surface: In accordance with EN 1057
• Absolute roughness: e.= 0.0015 mm
• Carbon residue: C<0.06 mg/dm2
• Completely impermeable to gases
• Resistant to UV rays
• System temperature resistance: continuous 95°C
