The Spanish company KME LOCSA S.A. manufactures rolled products in copper and zinc, in special and standard alloys intended for use both in industrial applications and in construction.
KME LOCSA S. A. is the main Spanish manufacturer of special and standard copper and zinc alloy products (including minting alloys) and is the leader in its domestic market.
KME LOCSA is wholly owned by KME Spain SA; it has 158 employees and a turnover of around 100 mn Euro (in 2007). Its business is run in full integration with the Group’s management strategies.
The KME LOCSA S.A. plant is located in Córdoba and boasts cutting edge production technology, from the foundry to the rolling and slitting works, all characterised by a high degree of automation and quality control.
Furthermore, KME LOCSA founded in 1993 a service centre in the vicinity of Barcelona which enables it to offer its customers in the north west of Spain prompt and flexible service.
The sales and administrative functions of KME LOCSA are centralised at KME Spain S.A.’s head offices in Barcelona.
KME Spain also encompasses the activity of its subsidiary KME Ibertubos S.A., which specializes in the production of capillary tubes in its plant in Barcelona.

COMPANY HISTORY
The business now known as KME LOCSA was originally part of SECEM (Sociedad Española de Construcciones electromecánicas SA), a manufacturer of copper products founded in the south of Spain in 1917, in the context of the copper mining activities in Riotinto (Huelva).
