KME management

Italo Romano was born in 1958 and holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration. He joined the Group in 1988 serving in various capacities in the accounting and management and control areas. In 2001, he was named Corporate Group Controller with responsibility for studying the restructuring of the Group's entire IT and accounting system. In 2004, he was appointed General Manager "Administration, Control & Corporate Planning." In this capacity he handled the development of a strategic plan to refinance the Group. In 2005, he was elected to the Board of Directors of KME Italy S.p.A. and was named the company's Executive Vice President. The same year, he became a member of the Vorstand of KME Germany A.G. and was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of KME Group S.p.A. In 2006, under his functional responsibility, the group signed a 850-Million-euro credit line provided by major European banks leaded by Deutsche Bank and an 800-million-euro factoring contract with GE Commercial Finance. In 2007, he was appointed General Manager and Board member of KME Group SpA and reappointed Executive Vice President of KME Italy S.p.A. and member of the Vorstand of KME Germany A.G..

Domenico Cova was born in 1949 and holds a degree in Electronic Engineering. He joined the Group upon the acquisition of Trafilerie e Laminatoi di Metalli S.p.A. (TLM), a company of the Pechiney Group, which is based in France. In 1977, he was appointed Production Manager for the Rods area at the Serravalle Scrivia plant and became manager of this facility in 1983. He continued his career at Tréfimétaux S.A., a French subsidiary that is now called KME France S.A.S., of which he became Chairman in 2000. Since 1995, he has been a member of the Vorstand of KME Germany A.G. In 2007, he was named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of KME Group S.p.A.
